THE CHALLENGE
After graduating from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, Crijn Bouman founded Europe’s first EV fast-charging station.
Shortly after the company was acquired by ABB, Bouman spotted a gap in the autonomous vehicle market for an autonomous charging solution .
His new company, Rocsys, is now a leader in next-generation charging solutions for battery-powered vehicles used in public transport, logistics, seaports, airports, material handling, and more.
To ensure flawless performance of Rocsys‘ autonomous charging technology, the company is committed to research and development .
And that’s where TITAN comes in.
They wanted to know if we could provide them with a portable cold storage unit capable of freezing down to -40°C
And they asked if this unit could also generate temperatures up to +45 °C ?
THE SOLUTION
The Rocsys autonomous charging system, the ROC-1, was designed for outdoor use. It therefore needs to withstand even the harshest weather conditions .
This means both arctic and tropical temperatures.

THE DELIVERY
The 20-ft ArcticStore for Rocsys was delivered on the back of a Hiab truck and quickly moved to its installation site at their headquarters in Delft .
